Students will be introduced to the organs of the body and choose one that needs special attention in their own lives – thyroid, heart, eyes, etc. From viewing a slide show, they will learn the best foods for that body organ and those that should be avoided and will note them to be used later. They will be asked to draw a Zentangle with black pen - non-objective, freestyle. Next, in pencil, students will draw their chosen body organ over the Zentangle. There will be lots of images of body organs from which to copy, both simple and more complex. A light box available for use. Next, colored pencils will be used to color, includes a color wheel lesson. Each person will create a decorative picture to take home. This may take more than one class. It is suggested to hang the it where it will be seen every day and send Love and Light to that part of the body. This workshop will be educational, fun, and healing.
